ABOUT:

FrootShoot is a pixel art rogue like shooter made in 4 days for GMTK 2026 under the theme 'Countdown'.

Fruit launches across the screen and you shoot it before your timer runs out. Hitting fruit keeps you alive, missing costs time, and chests drop items that change how the run plays.

Bombs have to be grabbed and thrown off-screen before they explode. Durians should be left alone. Coconuts start a short click minigame. Along the way you can pick up powerups, including Pomelo, a monkey companion who helps shoot fruit for you.

Made for GMTK 2026. Theme: Countdown.

CONTROLS:

• Left Click: Shoot 
•  Right Click (hold): Grab bombs and chests, then release to throw them 
•  Tab / Esc: Pause
